Northfield woman faces arrest warrant, burglary charges

NORTHFIELD — Northfield police confirmed the arrest of 26-year-old Taylor Crowningshield on Feb. 2 after a warrant was issued for her involvement in a burglary.

Authorities stated that during a follow-up investigation, it was discovered Crowningshield had an outstanding arrest warrant.

She was taken into custody at the Northfield Police Department at 11 a.m. on Wall Street.

The arrest follows an earlier incident on Jan. 30, when Crowningshield allegedly broke into a residence on VT Route 64 after fleeing the scene of an accident.

During this incident, she is accused of stealing an item from the property.

Crowningshield, a Northfield resident, is scheduled to appear in Washington Superior Court – Criminal Division on Feb. 5 for the arrest warrant and on March 21 for the burglary charges.
