MANCHESTER — Police arrested a 19-year-old man early Friday morning after responding to a burglary alarm at the East Side Club on Massabesic Street.

Officers arrived at the scene around 12:40 a.m. to find a patio fence gate open and a glass door shattered.

Shortly thereafter, Shakiye Billings of Manchester ran from the business but stopped when ordered by police.

Billings, who had an active warrant for a prior burglary at West High School where he allegedly caused damage and stole cash, was taken into custody without incident.

He now faces additional charges of Criminal Mischief and Criminal Trespass for the incident at the East Side Club.

Billings was scheduled for arraignment later the same day in Manchester District Court.
