WALTHAM — Troopers with the Vermont State Police arrested a Panton man on charges of driving under the influence of drugs and possession of cocaine following a traffic stop on VT Route 17 near Green Street.
John A. Cunningham, 50, was pulled over for a motor vehicle violation on Jan. 31 at 11:02 p.m.
During the stop, troopers noted signs of impairment and Cunningham was taken into custody for DUI-drug and driving with a criminally suspended license (DLS).
A search subsequent to his arrest revealed cocaine in Cunningham’s possession.
He was released the following day on Feb. 1 with a citation.
Cunningham is scheduled to appear at the Addison County Superior Court on April 22 to face his charges.
