Topsham camp burglarized, DeWalt tools stolen

TOPSHAM — A burglary at a local camp on Emerson Road resulted in the theft of approximately ten cordless DeWalt tools, according to the Vermont State Police.

Scott Farquharson, 53, of Ryegate, reported the break-in to authorities at 10:18 a.m. on Jan. 31.

The burglary is believed to have occurred between 4 p.m. on Jan. 30 and 10 a.m. the following day.

The perpetrator forcibly entered the property, owned by Farquharson, and removed the tools.

The Vermont State Police are seeking information from the public that could lead to the identification of the individual responsible for the crime.
