Wheelock man arrested for warrant, driving with suspended license

ST. JOHNSBURY — A Wheelock man was arrested Tuesday morning after police responded to reports of a truck performing doughnuts in a local mall parking lot.

At around 10:21 a.m., Troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks were called to the Green MT Mall on 2000 Memorial Dr, where they found a white truck with a wooden flatbed driving erratically in front of Ocean State Job Lot.

The driver, identified as 27-year-old Dylan Brink of Wheelock, was exhibiting multiple civil violations.

Brink had an active arrest warrant for domestic assault, two counts of violation of probation, and several violations of conditions of release.

Troopers took Brink into custody on the outstanding warrant and for criminally operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

Brink was arraigned at 1 p.m. at the Caledonia County Superior Courthouse.

Judge Michael R Kainen ordered him held without bail pending a court hearing scheduled for Monday, Feb. 5.

Additionally, Brink received a citation to appear in court on March 18 at 8:30 a.m. to answer the charge of Criminal DLS.
