Fletcher pottery theft prompts police search for suspects

FLETCHER — Vermont State Police are investigating a case of grand larceny after a valuable piece of pottery was stolen from a residence on Pond Road.

The theft, reported on Jan. 30 at 3:22 p.m., involved a piece valued at $1,450, according to the victim, Jamie McCutcheon, 52, of Fletcher.

The pottery was affixed to the exterior of McCutcheon’s home and is believed to have been taken sometime between Jan. 23 and Jan. 30.

Authorities are seeking assistance from the public and urge anyone with information about the incident to contact the St. Albans Field Station.

The investigation is ongoing, and no suspects have been identified at this time.
