METHUEN — The Methuen Police Department issued an alert Friday for a man wanted on multiple felony charges, including kidnapping and assault.
Benjamin Savinon, 29, is the subject of an arrest warrant charging him with kidnapping, assault and battery on a household member, threats to commit a crime, intimidation of a witness, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and violating an abuse protective order.
Described as 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 185 pounds, Savinon has brown eyes, black hair, and a light complexion.
Authorities consider him armed and dangerous.
The police have urged the public to be vigilant and to report any information related to Savinon’s whereabouts by calling the Methuen Police Department at 978-983-8698.
The department has cautioned residents not to approach the suspect if seen but to contact law enforcement immediately.
