BROOKLINE — Detectives are seeking assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a package theft in the Washington Square area.
The theft occurred recently when a resident reported a missing package from their front porch.
After reviewing home surveillance footage, the victim noticed an individual taking the package.
The suspect appeared to be either a delivery person mistakenly collecting the wrong item or someone posing as a courier to commit theft.
Brookline Police have released images of the suspect and are urging anyone who recognizes the individual or believes they may know their identity to contact detectives at 617-730-2710.
Authorities remind residents to remain alert and prioritize safety.
