St. Johnsbury woman arrested for vehicle theft

ST. JOHNSBURY — On Dec. 10, Vermont State Police arrested 36-year-old Brandy Moses of St. Johnsbury on charges of operating a vehicle without the owner’s consent.

According to authorities, troopers were dispatched to Memorial Dr. around 1:13 p.m. following a report of a stolen vehicle from the Fitness Unbound parking lot.

The vehicle was found the next day in Bradford with minor damage and unoccupied.

The investigation concluded Moses unlawfully took the vehicle and drove it to Bradford where she later abandoned it.

Moses was apprehended on Jan. 24 and has been issued a citation to appear at Caledonia County Criminal Court on Feb. 26 at 8:30 a.m. to respond to the charges.
