Royalton man held without bail on domestic assault, endangerment charges

ROYALTON — Vermont State Police arrested a 44-year-old Royalton man late Wednesday night on multiple charges involving a domestic incident with a firearm.

Troopers responded to a report of a domestic assault at a residence on Happy Hollow Road around 10:06 p.m. Upon arrival and subsequent investigation, they arrested Andrew L.

White for allegedly assaulting two household members and recklessly pointing a firearm at three individuals within the home.

White faces two counts of first-degree aggravated domestic assault and three counts of recklessly endangering another person.

He was issued a criminal citation and ordered to appear before the Vermont Superior Court, Windsor Criminal Division on Jan. 25 at 12:30 p.m. for arraignment.

Following his arrest, White was held without bail and transported to the Southern State Correctional Facility in Springfield pending his court appearance.

The Vermont State Police did not release the names of the victims, adhering to their policy regarding incidents of domestic violence.
