LYNN — A joint investigation by the Lynn Police Drug Task Force, Drug Enforcement Administration Task Force 2, and the Massachusetts State Police has led to the seizure of a significant quantity of drugs, officials said Friday.

Authorities confiscated approximately 10 kilograms of fentanyl, alongside a substantial amount of cocaine and a number of pressed fentanyl pills.

The seizure is the result of an ongoing collaboration between local and federal law enforcement agencies to combat drug trafficking in the region.

The investigation that led to the seizure is still active, and charges are pending as the inquiry continues.

Officials have not yet released the names of any suspects or provided details about how the seizure was executed.

Further updates on the case are expected as the investigation progresses.
