ST. JOHNSBURY — A local woman was taken into custody on Jan. 24 after police responded to a call at Coles Redemption, where Brandy Lee Moses, 35, was reported to be present.

Upon arrival, officers observed Moses attempting to evade them by running between the Laundromat and the store.

Despite her efforts to hide, Moses was apprehended without incident and brought to the St. Johnsbury Police Department.

Moses, a St. Johnsbury resident, faced citations for issuing a bad check from the St. Johnsbury Police and for operating without the owner’s consent from the Vermont State Police.

Following her arrest, Moses was transported to the Caledonia County Superior Court where she was arraigned on her outstanding warrant.

After the arraignment, she was released on conditions set by the court.
