HAVERHILL — The Haverhill Police Department has issued a public request for assistance in identifying individuals and the owner of vehicles shown in recently released images.

In a statement released Monday, the department emphasized that the images are being distributed for informational purposes only.

They are seeking the public’s help to identify the persons depicted in the photographs.

Authorities have instructed anyone who recognizes themselves or knows the identities of the individuals in the images not to post any information in the comments section of the department’s social media pages.

Instead, they are asking the public to reach out privately, either through a direct message to the department’s official social media account or by calling the department at 603-787-2222 during regular business hours.

The police department has clarified that the individuals in the photos are part of an inquiry and may not necessarily be the targets of a criminal investigation.

The request for identification is a standard procedure and does not imply any guilt or innocence on the part of the subjects.
