West Springfield police seek assistance in identifying shoplifting suspect

SPRINGFIELD — Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a woman accused of stealing more than $2,700 in merchandise from a local Kohl’s Store on Saturday night, Jan. 20.

Authorities say the individual took items valued at $2,754, predominantly Nike brand products, and left the store without paying.

She was then seen fleeing in a gold-colored Toyota.

The vehicle’s license plate was not visible at the time of the incident.

The West Springfield Police Department released photographs of the suspect and is urging anyone with information about her identity to contact the WSPD Detective Bureau.

Those with potential leads are requested to call 413-263-3210 and speak with Detective Azadan.

The police emphasize that informants may remain anonymous.
