HARTLAND — A local woman was arrested early Monday morning after a domestic disturbance on North View Rd.
The Vermont State Police – Royalton responded to the scene at 8:07 a.m., where they found that 25-year-old Alexis J. Secore had allegedly assaulted a member of her household.
Following an investigation, Secore was taken into custody without further incident.
Secore, a resident of Hartland, is now facing charges of domestic assault and unlawful mischief.
She was transported to the Royalton State Police Barracks for processing following the arrest.
In accordance with privacy policies, the Vermont State Police has not released the name of the victim, adhering to the standards for cases involving sexual assault or domestic violence.
Secore has been issued a citation to appear at the Windsor County Superior Court today at 12:30 p.m. to respond to the charges.
