Bakersfield garage burglary under investigation by State Police

BAKERSFIELD — State Police are investigating a burglary that took place in an 85-year-old man’s garage on Main Street North.

The burglary occurred during the overnight hours between Jan. 18 and Jan. 20, with several power tools reported stolen from the property of Adelard Paradis.

Authorities have not yet identified any suspects in the case.

The Vermont State Police (VSP) St. Albans barracks is handling the investigation and is seeking assistance from the public.

The burglary has raised concerns among the community members of Bakersfield, with local residents urged to take extra precautions to secure their properties.
