Woman charged with DUI after Guilford crash

GUILFORD — A woman was charged with driving under the influence after a single-car crash in Guilford early Sunday morning.

Vermont State Police reported that at around 1:11 a.m., they responded to an incident on Coolidge Hwy in the Town of Guilford, Windham County.

Upon arrival, troopers discovered that the vehicle was operated by Chastity L. Vincent, 37, of Greenfield, Massachusetts.

Vincent exhibited signs of impairment at the crash site, according to the authorities.

She was taken to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital for minor injuries sustained in the accident.

After being treated and released from the hospital, Vincent was processed at the Brattleboro Police Department.

Vincent was subsequently cited for DUI and released.

She is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, on Feb. 6 at 8:30 a.m. to respond to the charge.
