LYNDON — A transient man was arrested early Wednesday morning after repeatedly trespassing at Cumberland Farms, according to Vermont State Police.

Troopers responded to a call at the convenience store at approximately 12:49 a.m. on Jan. 17, where they encountered Eugene Caouette, 46, loitering on the property.

Caouette was issued a Notice of Trespass and left the premises.

However, police were called back to the scene at around 1:47 a.m. after the store reported that Caouette had returned.

Upon arrival, officers arrested Caouette for Unlawful Trespass.
