Two injured in head-on crash in Pelham

PELHAM — A head-on collision on Sherburne Road near Cutter Woods Conservation Area resulted in serious injuries and a road closure on Jan. 20.

At around 10:55 a.m., an Infiniti G35 traveling westbound crossed the double yellow center line and collided with an oncoming Honda CRV.

The driver of the Infiniti was airlifted to a Manchester hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The Honda driver and a passenger from the Infiniti were also taken to local hospitals with serious injuries that were not life-threatening.

Authorities closed Sherburne Road for about four and a half hours to investigate and manage the accident scene.

The Pelham Police Department extended its gratitude to the Dracut Police Department, Hudson N.H.

Police Department, Windham NH Police Department, and the NH Department of Transportation for their assistance with the crash and the ongoing investigation.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
