Bethel man arrested on multiple warrants

BETHEL — Troopers from the Vermont State Police Royalton Barracks apprehended 31-year-old Tyler J. Taitague on an active in-state arrest warrant on Jan. 20, following an anonymous tip.

Authorities received information at approximately 11:13 a.m. about Taitague’s whereabouts.

Upon locating him at 68 Main Street officers verified the existence of his warrants and proceeded to arrest him.

Taitague, a resident of Bethel, was detained without resistance and was subsequently transported to the Southern State Correctional Facility for processing.

Further details regarding the specific nature of the warrants and Taitague’s impending legal proceedings have not been released at this time.
