FERRISBURGH — A 42-year-old Brooklyn man turned himself in to authorities early Thursday morning after a decade-long warrant for his arrest on drug charges.

Vermont State Troopers responded to the Ferrisburgh Park & Ride at 12:07 a.m. after Maleek Drummond called 911 to surrender.

Drummond was wanted on a warrant related to heroin and marijuana possession charges from 2013 in Addison County.

Upon arrival, troopers took Drummond into custody without incident.

He was subsequently lodged at the Marble Valley Correctional Facility for lack of $10,000 bail pending further legal proceedings.
