Worcester man arrested for possession of crack cocaine, ammunition

WORCESTER — Vice Squad officers from the Worcester Police Department arrested a Bowdoin Street man on charges of drug possession and ammunition without proper licensing.

On Jan. 17, at approximately 6:40 p.m., police executed a search warrant at an apartment where they detained Felix Maldonado, the target of the investigation.

During the search, officers found substances believed to be crack cocaine, ammunition, firearm parts, and packaging materials.

Maldonado, who did not possess a Firearms Identification (FID) card or a License to Carry, was arrested for Possession of a Class B Substance with Intent to Distribute and Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card.

Additionally, two other individuals present in the apartment were taken into custody on outstanding arrest warrants.

The Worcester Police Department continues to investigate the matter and urges the community to report any suspicious activity.
