Boston man arrested in connection with Mattapan stabbing

BOSTON — A 70-year-old Dorchester man was arrested late Wednesday night following a stabbing incident in Mattapan, according to Boston Police.

Officers from District B-3 responded to a call at approximately 9:55 p.m. near 442 River Street where they found an adult male victim with non-life-threatening stab wounds.

The victim was promptly transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention.

Joseph J. Marrow was taken into custody at the scene and is charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Marrow is scheduled to be arraigned at Dorchester District Court.
