SHOREHAM — A Milton man was arrested Saturday evening after a road rage confrontation led to the assault of a juvenile, according to Vermont State Police.
The incident occurred around 8:50 p.m. near the intersection of VT RT 73 and Main St. in Shoreham.
Authorities say they were called to the scene following reports of the altercation.
Cliffard Torres, 34, was taken into custody and faces a charge of Simple Assault.
Vermont State Police have not released details about the juvenile victim, following their policy on protecting the identity of minors.
Torres was processed at the New Haven Barracks and subsequently released on a citation to appear at the Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division, on April 18 at 12:30 p.m.
