Boston police seek help finding missing man last seen heading to Braintree

BOSTON — The Boston Police Department has issued a missing person alert and is asking for the public’s assistance in locating John Wesley, a 57-year-old Boston resident who has not been seen since the evening of Nov. 22.

Wesley was last heard from around 7 p.m. when he informed family members over the phone that he was on his way to Braintree.

Described as a Black male, about 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighing approximately 300 pounds, he is bald with mustaches and green eyes.

Known for his usual attire of jeans and a sweatshirt, Wesley also frequently visits the Malden area, especially around Broadway Street.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about Wesley’s whereabouts to immediately contact 911 or reach out to D-4 detectives at (617) 343-5619.

The Boston Police Department emphasizes the urgency of the public’s help in ensuring Wesley’s safe return.
