Boston police seek help locating missing South End man

BOSTON — The Boston Police Department issued a missing person alert Monday and is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 53-year-old Christopher Hammond from the South End.

Hammond was last seen at 7 p.m. on Jan. 13 in the area of 444 Harrison Ave.

He was wearing a black jacket, green hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, black boots, and eyeglasses at the time of his disappearance.

He is described as a black male with short grey hair, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, and weighing around 170 pounds.

Authorities have mentioned he has no known intellectual disabilities or complications.

The police are urging anyone with information about Hammond’s whereabouts to contact 911 or reach out to D-4 Detectives at (617) 343-5619.
