Methuen woman to face court for shoplifting spree at Marshalls

METHUEN — Methuen Police officers were called to a local Marshalls store on Jan. 9 after reports of a female shoplifter surfaced.

Upon arrival, officers discovered that the woman had allegedly stolen 11 pieces of lingerie, two pairs of Crocs, and a set of face towels by concealing them in a reusable Marshalls shopping bag and exiting the store without payment.

The suspect has been identified and is set to be summoned to Lawrence District Court on charges of shoplifting, authorities confirmed.

Police have not released the suspects name at this time.

The date for her court appearance has not been disclosed.
