Boston police seek help finding missing 14-year-old girl

BOSTON — Boston Police Department has issued a missing person alert for 14-year-old Wenxin Zheng, urging the public to aid in locating the Boston teen.

Zheng was last seen around 5 p.m. on Jan. 12 in the vicinity of Washington Street in the Chinatown neighborhood.

Described as wearing a black jacket and black pants at the time of her disappearance, there is growing concern for her welfare.

A student at the John D. O’Bryant School, Zheng is known to frequent areas such as Newbury Street, Downtown Crossing, and Castle Island, and she has connections in Quincy, MA, which could be potential locations where she may be found.

The Boston Police Department is asking anyone with information about Zheng’s whereabouts to immediately contact 911 or get in touch with A-1 Detectives at (617) 343-6150.

The community’s cooperation is crucial in ensuring Zheng’s safe return.
