Elmore man arrested on multiple counts of domestic assault

ELMORE — Vermont State Police arrested a 22-year-old Elmore man on charges of domestic assault following a family disturbance at a local residence on Jan. 11.

Authorities were called to the scene on Cross Road around 6:41 p.m., where they were supported by officers from the Morrisville Police Department and the Lamoille County Sheriff’s Department.

The investigation identified John Hill as the perpetrator of physical assaults against family members in the home.

Hill was taken into custody and processed at the Morrisville Police Department.

Upon completion of the processing, he was released with conditions and a mandate to appear at the Lamoille County Superior Court on Jan. 12 at 1 p.m. to respond to the charges filed against him.

Further details regarding the incident have not been released to protect the identities of the victims involved in the case, as per Vermont State Police policy on domestic violence incidents.
