Boston police seek public’s help to identify robbery suspect

BOSTON — Boston Police Department detectives from District D-4 are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying an individual connected to an armed robbery that occurred on Thursday, Jan. 11, at approximately 12:34 p.m. near 21 Massachusetts Ave.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned black male with a medium build, standing at about 5 feet 7 inches tall.

He was recorded on surveillance footage wearing a head wrap, a black jacket, a long white undershirt, blue jeans, and Timberland boots, and he was carrying a black North Face backpack.

During the incident, the individual displayed a firearm.

Authorities are thoroughly investigating the circumstances surrounding the robbery.

The department assures that the identities of informants who wish to remain anonymous will be protected with the utmost care.
