Campton homeowner arrested on drug-related nuisance charge

CAMPTON — A local homeowner was arrested on a felony charge for allegedly maintaining a common nuisance related to drug activities, Campton Police said Wednesday.

Arley Poling, 63, was taken into custody on Jan. 9 following an investigation into the possession and sale of methamphetamine in the community.

Methamphetamine is known for its powerful stimulant effects and high potential for addiction.

The arrest, executed with a warrant, marks a step in ongoing efforts to combat drug-related issues in the area.

Poling was subsequently bailed and released with an order to appear for arraignment at the Plymouth Court.
