South End Boston man missing since Friday

BOSTON — Police are seeking the public’s help in locating 66-year-old Sylvester Bailey, who was last seen in the South End area on Friday, Jan. 5.

Bailey, a resident of Boston’s South End, is described as a thin, bald, black male with a distinctive scar on the left side of his head.

He was last spotted wearing black pants and a black long sleeve top.

Known to frequent the Prudential Mall, South End, and the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Melnea Cass Boulevard, Bailey’s disappearance has raised concerns among local authorities and the community.

The Boston Police Department urges anyone with information about Bailey’s whereabouts to contact emergency services by dialing 911 or reaching out to D4 Detectives at (617) 343-5619.
