LUDLOW — A Ludlow man was arrested Saturday on charges of child enticement after an incident involving two young girls near a local Walgreens, police said.

Ludlow Police Chief Daniel Valadas reported that at approximately noon on Jan. 6, officers responded to a call about a man watching two young girls.

Upon arrival, officers found Michael Wilson, 35, seated in his gray Toyota Camry, which was parked facing eastbound in the westbound lane in front of 65 East Street, obstructing traffic.

Authorities allege that Wilson observed the girls as they shopped at the Walgreens located at 54 East Street.

He is accused of approaching them in the parking lot and attempting to lure them into his vehicle.

The girls fled and informed their parents, who immediately contacted law enforcement.

Wilson was taken into custody and charged with enticement of a child under 16, a felony, and disorderly conduct.

He was arraigned on Monday at Palmer District Court, where he was ordered held on $15,040 cash bail.
