West Warwick man arrested on false reporting, obstruction charges

WEST WARWICK — Troopers arrested a 30-year-old West Warwick man Wednesday on charges including false reporting of a crime and obstructing an officer in the execution of duty.

Dorian Cornatzer, of 24 Governors Hill, was taken into custody at 11:30 a.m. following a barracks investigation that led to him responding to State Police Headquarters.

The arrest was executed on an active Affidavit and Arrest Warrant originating out of the State Police Scituate Barracks.

Cornatzer was processed and subsequently turned over to the Third District Court, where he is set to be arraigned as a probation violator.

Further details on the case or Cornatzer’s probation status were not immediately available.
