Rhode Island troopers make multiple arrests for various offenses

PAWTUCKET — At 9 a.m., Troopers apprehended Joseph Boyle, age 72, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Failure to Stop for Accident Resulting in Damage to Vehicle.

The incident, originating from the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks, led to Boyle’s arrest with assistance from the Pawtucket Police Department.

After processing at the barracks, he was taken to Sixth District Court for arraignment.

CRANSTON — Following a traffic stop on Park Avenue at 10:04 a.m., Troopers arrested Jose Sosa Orellana, age 39, for two counts of Weapons Other Than Firearms Prohibited.

Orellana was processed at Lincoln Woods Barracks and appeared in Sixth District Court for arraignment.

WOONSOCKET — At 10:20 a.m., Troopers detained Alexcia Cespedes, age 21, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Intimidation of a Witness as a result of a barracks investigation.

Cespedes was located during a vehicle stop on Diamond Hill Road, processed at the barracks, and subsequently transported to Sixth District Court for arraignment.

PROVIDENCE — Frances Lemos, age 48, was arrested at 12:01 p.m. for Simple Assault and/or Battery and Disorderly Conduct.

This followed a Troopers’ investigation into an assault at the Frank Licht Judicial Complex.

Lemos was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks before being taken to court for arraignment.

PROVIDENCE — A traffic stop on Route 95 at 2:36 p.m. led to the arrest of Adrian Garcia, age 23, for Possession of Marijuana – Over 2 Ounces.

Garcia was processed at Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned, and released pending a future court appearance.

WEST WARWICK — At 8 p.m., Jared Craig, age 29, was arrested on an active Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Burglary from the Pawtucket Police Department.

The arrest followed a traffic stop on Legris Avenue.

After processing at Lincoln Woods Barracks, Craig was turned over to Pawtucket Police.
