Nashua woman arrested on multiple felony stalking, violation charges

NASHUA — Nashua Police Department officers arrested 26-year-old Madeline Gibbs on a felony warrant for Stalking – Domestic Violence, officials announced Tuesday.

On Dec. 25, officers responded to a call regarding a domestic violence incident involving Gibbs and an adult male known to her.

The man reported that Gibbs had violated a domestic violence final order of protection and a criminal bail protective order by contacting him through phone calls and text messages.

Investigators from the Special Investigations Division – Domestic Violence Unit found that Gibbs had a previous stalking conviction, elevating the current charge to a subsequent offense.

Gibbs is now facing two counts of Stalking – Domestic Violence; subsequent (felony), two counts of Violation of Protection Order, and two counts of Breach of Bail.

Following her arrest, Gibbs was held without bail.

She is scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit Nashua District Division Court on Jan. 3 at 11 a.m.
