BOSTON — A 15-year-old boy was arrested Wednesday morning on firearm-related charges after being found with a gun at a Back Bay school, Boston Police say.

The incident occurred around 11:40 a.m. at 150 Newbury Street.

Officers from District D-4 responded to reports of a student carrying a firearm.

Upon arrival, they were greeted by school staff who had received a tip about a student possibly armed.

A search of the student’s backpack by school officials revealed a Taurus firearm with a magazine containing ten rounds.
