DOVER — Police are investigating the deaths of three family members in a Dover residence after a 911 call led them to the grim discovery Thursday evening.

Dover Police received the call at approximately 7:24 p.m. from a relative who had gone to check on the family at their Wilson’s Way home.

Upon arrival, officers found an adult male, an adult female, and their teenage daughter deceased.

Authorities quickly secured the scene and requested assistance from the State Police Detective Unit associated with the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office.

While the investigation remains in its early stages, preliminary evidence suggests that the incident was a case of domestic violence with no indication of involvement by an outside party.

Police believe there is no ongoing threat to the community.

The process of notifying the next of kin is underway, and officials anticipate that more details will be made available by mid-day Friday.

Throughout the night, Dover Police, alongside officers from the Massachusetts State Police, Norfolk District Attorney’s office, State Police Crime Scene Services Section, and other specialized units, worked diligently to process the scene.

Further updates and statements regarding the case will be issued through the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office.
