Boston police seek suspect in armed robbery of postal worker in Dorchester

BOSTON — Boston Police Department detectives from District C-11 are asking for the public’s help to identify an individual linked to the armed robbery of a postal worker in Dorchester.

The incident occurred around 5:40 p.m. on Dec. 28 in the area of Talbot and Welles Ave.

Officers responded to a call for an armed robbery and discovered a postal worker who reported being robbed at gunpoint of his mail key.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned Hispanic male in his late teens to early 20s, with a thin build.

He was last seen wearing a dark-colored hooded sweater, gray sweatpants, and a black ski mask.

After the robbery, the suspect fled on Talbot Ave toward Washington St.

The Boston Police Department is diligently reviewing the details of the incident.
