LUNENBURG — A 57-year-old Lunenburg man was arraigned in Fitchburg District Court Wednesday, facing charges in connection with the stabbing death of a woman at a local trailer park.
Orlando Garcia Rosado was charged with murder and assault and battery on a family/household member after police responded to a call at the trailer park on Massachusetts Avenue around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday.
Upon arrival, authorities found 53-year-old Maria Murray with stab wounds.
Rosado entered not guilty pleas to the charges.
The judge ordered him held without bail without prejudice, and he is scheduled to return to court on Feb. 6.
The Lunenburg Police Department has stated that the investigation is ongoing and no further information will be released at this time.
