Rutland woman faces charges for false information, driving with suspended license

RUTLAND — Vermont State Police arrested a local woman early Wednesday morning for providing false information and driving with a suspended license.

Lisa White, 36, of Rutland, was stopped by troopers at approximately 12:37 a.m. for a traffic violation.

During the stop, White attempted to deceive the officers by giving a false name.

Further investigation revealed White was operating the vehicle on a criminally suspended license and was in violation of her conditions of release.

White was taken into custody and processed at the Rutland Barracks.

Following processing, she was released on a citation to appear in Rutland Criminal Court to face charges of providing false information to police, violation of conditions of release, and criminal driving with a suspended license (DLS).
