HOLLIS — A local woman was arrested Monday night after Hollis Police officers responded to a report of a vehicle being driven erratically on Broad St.

At around 8 p.m., officers located the vehicle parked off the driveway in the front yard of the registered owner’s residence.

The car was running with Heather Armhold, 39, of Hollis, in the driver’s seat.

Upon contact, officers observed signs of impairment and arrested Armhold under suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Armhold, who exhibited unsteadiness and fell while walking into the booking room, was transported to a local hospital for observation.

She was processed at the hospital and released on personal recognizance bail with an arraignment scheduled at the 9th Circuit Court, Nashua District.

Facing her second DUI charge following a conviction last year, Armhold is also charged with Breach of Bail due to bail conditions set from a previous arrest in November that included a DUI (2nd offense) and four counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

This incident represents the 50th arrest for impaired driving by Hollis Police this year.
