Vehicle crashes into YMCA in Foxborough, injuring four juveniles

FOXBOROUGH — A vehicle crashed into the local YMCA at 67 Mechanic Street at 4:30 p.m. today, resulting in injuries to four juveniles, according to Foxborough Police and Fire Departments.

Emergency personnel arrived at the scene following multiple E-911 calls and found that the vehicle had struck the building, causing damage and injuries to individuals inside.

The four juveniles were transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and is actively cooperating with investigators.

The Foxborough Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section are conducting an active investigation into the incident.

Additionally, the Foxborough Building Commissioner is evaluating the safety and structural integrity of the YMCA building following the crash.
