Nashua police apprehend woman for Kohl’s thefts

NASHUA — A 44-year-old woman with no fixed address from Manchester has been arrested by Nashua Police on charges of felony theft after allegedly stealing merchandise from a local Kohl’s store on two separate occasions.

Katie Trepanier was taken into custody on a felony warrant for Theft By Unauthorized Taking, according to the Nashua Police Department.

The arrest follows an initial report filed on Nov. 4 by a Kohl’s employee at 101 Coliseum Avenue, who reported a theft in progress.

Officers reviewed surveillance footage from the store, which showed a woman exiting Kohl’s with bags of merchandise that had not been paid for and subsequently leaving the area in a vehicle.

The same individual was recorded returning to the store and committing theft a second time on Nov. 12.

Through investigation, officers identified the suspect as Trepanier and were able to obtain an arrest warrant charging her with felony Theft By Unauthorized Taking.

After her arrest, Trepanier was denied bail and transported to the Hillsborough County House of Corrections.

She is slated to appear before the Hillsborough County Superior Court – South on Dec. 27 at 1 p.m.
