Boston police seek public’s help finding missing 15-year-old boy

BOSTON — The Boston Police Department issued a missing person alert Tuesday, asking for the public’s help in locating 15-year-old Jared Rodriguez who has been missing since Christmas night.

Jared was last seen around 11 p.m. on Dec. 25, near 12 Patterson Way in South Boston.

He is described as a light-skinned Hispanic male, standing 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing approximately 120 pounds, with short brown hair.

At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a black American Eagle jacket.

Jared, who is autistic, is known to frequent the Boys & Girls Club located on W6th Street.

The authorities are urging anyone with information about Jared’s whereabouts to immediately contact 911 or reach out to C-6 Detectives at 617-343-4742.

The Boston Police Department is committed to reuniting Jared with his family and appreciates any assistance the public can provide.
