Woman charged with DUI #2 after traffic stop in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD — A 40-year-old woman from Baltimore was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence Thursday night after a traffic stop on Route 10, police said.

Nicole Bushika was stopped by troopers from the Westminster Barracks at about 9:41 p.m. near the intersection with Route 106.

During the stop, troopers observed signs of impairment, according to a Vermont State Police report.

After field sobriety tests, Bushika was taken into custody and transported to the state police barracks for processing.

She was later released with a citation to appear in court on Jan. 9 at 8 a.m.

This incident marks Bushika’s second DUI offense.
