NORTH HAMPTON — A 20-year-old North Hampton man was arrested Thursday on multiple drug-related charges, according to the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force.

Lucien Boutin is charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, three counts of sales of a controlled drug, three counts of transporting drugs, and common nuisance.

He is currently being held at the Rockingham County Jail on a $25,000 cash bail.

The arrest was the result of an investigation supported by the NH Opioid Substance Abuse Grant, known as Granite Shield.

The initiative aims to combat the opioid crisis in New Hampshire by funding law enforcement efforts to reduce the distribution of illegal narcotics.
