Dorchester man arrested on firearm, drug charges after search warrant

BOSTON — Officers arrested 48-year-old Tyrone Wilson on Thursday, Dec. 21, following the execution of search warrants related to an ongoing drug investigation near 113 Dale Street.

At approximately 1:08 p.m., Wilson, a Dorchester resident, was taken into custody and is facing multiple firearm and drug-related charges.

The search warrants led to the recovery of two firearms: a Smith & Wesson M&P Shield with a round in the chamber and six rounds in the magazine, and a Davis Industries P-380, also with a round in the chamber and four rounds in the magazine.

In addition to the firearms, officers found 22 rounds of loose ammunition, powder cocaine, and approximately $784 in U.S. currency.

Wilson is charged with two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, two counts of unlawful possession of ammunition, and possession with intent to distribute class B drugs.

He is set to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court.
