Springfield police seek help identifying break-in suspect

SPRINGFIELD — Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an early morning break-in at an apartment building on Monday.

The Springfield Police Detective Bureau reported that the incident occurred around 2:45 a.m. on Dec. 4 at a residence on the 200 block of Fort Pleasant Avenue.

Authorities have not released details about what was taken or the extent of the damage to the property.

Residents with information about the suspect’s identity or whereabouts are urged to contact the Detective Bureau at 413-787-6355.

Tips can also be submitted privately through the Springfield Police Department’s Facebook page or by using the anonymous Text-A-Tip service.
