MILLIS — Preliminary autopsy results have revealed that the deaths of two individuals found on Sunday morning are a case of homicide and suicide, according to local authorities.
Tanaia Wilkinson, 25, was the victim of a homicide, while Michael Fischella, 32, died by suicide, police reported after receiving initial findings from the medical examiner’s office.
While the final autopsy report is pending, the early conclusions have helped steer the direction of the investigation, which began after the pair were discovered dead over the weekend.
Christopher J. Soffayer, Chief of Police, released the information to the public, underscoring that the investigation is ongoing.
